THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE PERSONALITY

Avatar credits.

The website displays rendered character previews and real DesktopKins screenshots. Existing library characters have their own creators; inclusion does not imply endorsement or exclusive ownership by DesktopKins.

Editable DesktopKins

DesktopKin 1, 2, 3 and 4 are starting characters for DesktopKins Avatar Editor. Their character artwork uses commercially licensed assets, with appearances prepared for DesktopKins. DesktopKin 1 and its Avatar Editor are included in the Demo; all four editable characters are included in Full.

Dahlia-provided models

The current library includes Angelika, Hime, Mira, and Nanami under separate written commercial redistribution permission recorded by the publisher. The original VRM metadata is preserved. Mika and Shane have been removed from the current app, but may still appear in earlier screenshots or footage on this website; their historical credits remain below.

OSA Gallery

Alien Teen, Leaf Boy, and Pitcher Dude come from the OSA Gallery, 100Avatars R3 collection, dedicated under CC0 1.0. Previews show the models as rendered for the app.

VTubeMe

Ember, Kai, Nova, and Sky are from VTubeMe, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International. DesktopKins adapts models at runtime for animation, sizing, gaze, and expression. Website previews are renders of the models; application behavior is not official character lore.

Website typography

The website uses Nunito by the Nunito Project Authors, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. The font is served directly by this website.

Gameplay and branding

The gameplay trailer shows DesktopKins. The final-level clown model credits Polygonal Mind and declares CC0 in its embedded metadata. The website uses real user-supplied desktop screenshots and actual model previews.

DesktopKins’ app distribution contains further third-party notices for its models, animations, audio, and runtime components. No VRM, FBX, or other raw model files are distributed by this website.
